I’m a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical in both Maryland and Virginia. Since graduating Arizona State University in 2018, I have worked at different levels of care helping people struggling with eating disorders, trauma, and unsafe relationships.
I have extensive training helping teenagers and adults recover from eating disorders. I am a HAES aligned provider and offer a blend of processing and skills in session to address the root causes while staying focused on the skills needed for recovery. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional I which gives me extra knowledge and skills to help people who live with complex trauma.
I believe in the power of radical acceptance, self-compassion, and mindfulness. I work using a feminist and systems theory lens. Although all our experiences are unique, it’s important to acknowledge outside forces that have impacted you. I use a trauma-informed, relational and strengths-based lens utilizing techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC).
